What is a Tattoo Ceremony?
The ceremonial space to receive a tattoo talisman provides a profound way to reconnect with the ancient tradition of tattooing—a sacred art of inscribing spiritual codes, protective talismans, and soul maps onto the body. The tattoo ceremonies Lua creates are bringing spiritual medicine and symbolic meaning into the physical realm. It is a powerful and transformative work that is experienced through deep trust & contemplation.
The ceremonies are held in a private, soothing atmosphere where you can dive into a deeper journey. It includes the following essential steps to enhance the experience:
Cleansing and Sound Healing: Cleansing the space and the recipient with medicinal herbal smudging, followed by a 15-minute sound healing session with drumming or crystal bowls.
Oracle Card Guidance: Picking an Oracle card before the start of a session helps clarify your intentions and provides a guidance for your current life path.
Optional Enhancements: To deepen this journey further, you can choose to receive additional offerings before your tattoo ceremony:
Reiki Energy Healing: As a Level 1 Reiki practitioner, Lua incorporates this energy healing technique to scan the energy of the body and help the recipient to enter a more relaxed (Theta) state. This can reduce any stress or pain during the tattooing session, whether it’s your first time to receive a tattoo or not. Reiki helps calm your nervous system, quiet your mind, and prepare your body to fully receive the transmission of your intentional tattoo talisman. The session lasts around 45 minutes, and costs an additional $60 USD.
Hapé Ritual: A Hapé ritual helps to cleanse and protect your energy as well as grounding you and bringing you into the present moment where you can connect with your intentions and inner guidance more clearly. This ritual is held in a meditative sitting position and takes around 20 minutes. The cost is an additional $20 USD.

How I Approach the Tattooing Process in My Ceremonies
Each tattoo talisman that Lua channels is designed to support each client's spiritual journey and personal growth. They are done as machine tattoos, often with small handpoked portals. Every dot and line is part of a ritual, a living prayer that honors the significance of marking both the skin and the aura, allowing a connection to deep remembering and awakening for the wearer.
Intuitive Freehand Design: Another unique aspect of this experience is the option for an intuitive freehand design process, either as a standalone experience or as part of your talisman. This approach involves sketching directly on your skin, tracing and complementing the contours of your body and energies—a true exploration of trust and adornment.

You will receive a follow-up e-mail with suggested appointment date to secure your booking.
Estimated price chart;
Small (5-10cm)_ 200-400 USD (1-2hrs tattooing)
Medium (10-15cm)_ 400-700 USD (2-3hrs tattooing)
Large(15+ cm)_ 700-1000 USD (3+ hrs tattooing)
*Add another 1-2 hours for preparation and opening/closing of the ceremony.
The sessions can last 2 to 4 hours, sometimes more.
A $50 deposit will be required to book a session or reserve a talisman. The deposit amount is deducted from the final price and is non-refundable.
To reschedule an appointment, you must provide a heads-up at least 48 hours before our session; otherwise, you won’t receive the deposit back.
